Jar With A Twist
JWaT launched in June of 2013 with a video that went viral very quickly. The video was developed in the class and then launched on YouTube after the provisional patent application got submitted:
The video appeared on the front page of Reddit just a few days after release. From there it went to web sites like HuffPo and Salon, and then to TV on the Today Show and GMA. With all the publicity, the JWaT team was soon fielding calls from a number of major manufacturers.
The Temperfect Mug
The Joveo Temperfect mug came to prominence with a very successful kickstarter campaign:
The campaign raised $269,000 and sold thousands of mugs. The campaign also garnered significant media attention from places like SmithsonianMag.com.
